Pinnacle Pastures Farm sets the bar on quality, locally grown meats.

Nestled in the country side of Fond Du Lac County, Pinnacle Pastures Farm located near Ripon raises nutrient dense, quality meats. This one time dairy farm has been family owned for sixty years. Owner Cody Fulwider manages the farm sitting on one hundred and twenty acres of land. Pinnacle Pastures Farm has a growing retail business for everything from pastured pork to lamb, beef, turkey, goose, duck, chicken and eggs. And he’s ready for more. Cody would like to expand his operation to farm to school, and increase his retail accounts.

While the farm is working toward organic certification, Cody has expanded his stock to include several distinctive breeds. Heritage Midget White turkeys, Berkshire and Durrock pigs, British White and Angus-Herford cross steers, and Katahdin lambs dot the pastures. Cody plants clover and grass for his livestock, and allows newborns to be raised by their mothers, nurturing their instinctive behaviors.

Pinnacle Pastures has some locally known and famous clients. Chef Brady Ahrens, the 2010 “Chef of the Year” award winner, and current chef of Stone Cellar Brewpub in Appleton is one of Pinnacle Pastures return customers. Chef Brady believes in a buy local philosophy and utilizes green practices in the restaurant.

Chef Nina Pucillo in California is also a fan of Pinnacle Pasture meats, and requests pork among other varieties to be shipped to her location in California. The added cost of shipping does not deter her. She states the product is worth the cost.
